Stop 4 - Indy Small Town Vibes
My first indy book store author event was in partnership with The Bookshelf on Church, owned by my longtime friend and business colleague Lisa. Located in Kilmarnock, VA, a small town in the Northern Neck of the state, we had one of the most engaging conversations of my career. WOW.
Stop 3 - Rewind - Back to DC Again!
Just when I thought I had finished my book tour events in DC, I was honored with an invitation by none other than National Airport (I was in the right time, right place at launch) -- I joined as their signing author at Ink by Hudson ahead of the National Book Festival. Loved meeting passengers as they made their way into the city - thank you!
Stops 1 & 2: Launch in Washington, DC
What an incredible day we had for the book launch! On 08.13.24, Sarah hosted a meetup & book signing at lunch for families at the Historic Terminal of Washington National Airport, and an evening reception for all. We welcomed nearly 200 pumping parents, working mamas and their supporters. We learned about employers who are making amazing strides in supporting moms--and about the work that is still yet to be done. Thanks for joining us! It was truly an epic day.
