NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY
Purchases made through any unauthorized reseller, secondhand marketplace, buy/sell/trade group, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, or any seller not listed above are not eligible for warranty, credit, repair or replacement. Items purchased during Outlet Sales or from the SALE section of our website are also excluded from warranty. Bags that are gifted as donation or for Brand Ambassador or Affiliate programs are not covered under the warranty. No exceptions.
ORIGINAL PURCHASER & RECEIPT REQUIREMENT
Warranty is offered only to the original purchaser and will only be issued to the email address used at the time of purchase. If you receive a product as a gift, you must obtain the original proof of purchase from the gift giver. We encourage gift givers to retain receipts or gift confirmations so that warranty rights may be preserved. Without verifiable proof of purchase from an approved seller, warranty claims cannot be honored.
APPROVED WARRANTY RESOLUTION
If a warranty claim is approved, a store credit will be issued to SarahWellsBags.com in the amount of the original purchase price paid, not the current retail price. Credits do not include taxes, shipping or fees. If a discount code or promotion was used, the final price paid is the credit amount. Credits expire 30 days from the date of issue and cannot be extended or reinstated.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
International purchases are covered under these same warranty terms; however, all shipping costs required for any warranty replacement or credit redemption are the responsibility of the customer, including in cases where the original order included free or subsidized shipping.
WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
Defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of bags and accessories or for one year on bras and apparel.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, stains, scuffs, fading, zipper wear, strap fraying, damage from use, mishandling, washing or drying, or modifications to the product. For bras and apparel, the one-year warranty does not cover stretching, clasp wear, Velcro wear or laundering damage.
PARTNER PRODUCTS (NON–SARAH WELLS ITEMS)
Sarah Wells offers select products from partner brands, including milk chillers, breast pumps, children’s clothing and postpartum accessories. These items are not manufactured by Sarah Wells and are not covered under any Sarah Wells warranty. Partner products may carry their own manufacturer warranties. Please refer to the packaging, included inserts or the brand’s website for warranty information. If you experience an issue with a partner product, you are welcome to contact us and we will gladly help refer you to the original brand, but we cannot refund, replace or warranty any non–Sarah Wells items.
OUR COMMITMENT
We remain deeply committed to supporting every pumping journey. By clearly defining how our warranty works, we ensure we can continue offering this industry-leading promise with integrity and fairness for the customers who rely on us.
We have authorization (HSA/FSA Merchant Category Code - 5047 Medical Supplies) to process HSA and FSA debit cards directly on our website (YAYYYYYYY).
Please note that the majority of our products and partner products qualify under the IRS "Lactation Expenses as Medical Expenses" authorization (Announcement 2011-14) but not everything we sell qualifies. Specifically, you may be able to use your HSA/FSA for:
• Breast pump bags with cooler compartments
• Breastfeeding bras
• Breastmilk cooler bags, wet/dry bags and organizer bags that have cooler bag capabilities
• Ceres Chill breastmilk chillers (coolers)
• Spare breastmilk ice packs for cooler bags
The types of items that may not qualify are: stickers, non-breastfeeding clothing (waterbottles, luggage tags), etc. If the products do not "assist lactation" they do not qualify. In this case you'll need to check out with those items separately using a standard payment method.
Please know that while we are authorized to accept HSA/FSA cards for eligible products, the decision to approve or deny a transaction is up to the card issuers and HSA/FSA plan. Your plan and card can still decline your purchase through our site, even if you're buying an eligible product. (For instance, some plans might require you to only purchase through a pharmacy provider that they partner with.)
If your card gets declined, or it is accepted but you are asked for additional information to substantiate the purchase, please reach out to us at customerservice@sarahwellsbags.com. We may not be able to facilitate that payment method through, but we can provide you with an itemized receipt and other information that you can use to validate the purchase and/or request a reimbursement after purchase with a standard payment method.
I'm so thrilled to announce that my first book published on August 13, 2024 (Matt Holt an Imprint of BenBella Books).
Go Ask Your Mothers: One Simple Step for Managers to Support Working Moms for Team Success is a groundbreaking book for leaders to create a mom-supportive workplace
Meet Amanda, a new mom and nurse in a critical care unit, who had to quit her job because the lactation room was too far away.
Learn about Patricia, who thought she was successfully hiding how crazy she felt until one day, four months postpartum, she had a panic attack in front of her coworkers that sent her to the emergency room.
Together, we'll explore the pervasive problem in American businesses with devastating consequences: Managers aren’t asking postpartum or new mothers what support they need to transition back to work, and mom employees are afraid to ask for help, resulting in poor employment outcomes for both. Sarah presents a simple and inexpensive solution to this workplace crisis.
